I was once told

openquote1there are no unsent Christiansclosequote1IMG_5434

I know this is a double negative, but it still rings true regardless.  All Christians are sent, and because of this, I am spending 9 weeks of my summer in Grand Isle, Louisiana, as an intern to a church plant headed by John Boss.  I know very little about what I will be doing, so that is why I am composing this blog!  Every week I will clue in you all who are faithfully praying for me back in my college town church, Temple Baptist, or my hometown church, East Leesville, or my friends where ever you are.

For a little on myself, I am Jenna Price.  I am currently a freshman at Louisiana Tech University where I study Political Science with a concentration in Pre-Law and a minor in Journalism.  In a nutshell:  I think the perfect shoe with any dress is a Converse; I like to make How I Met Your Mother references; my favorite finger nail polish is a midnight blue; I prefer frozen yogurt over ice cream; I see life like a Broadway musical complete with big song and dance numbers; and I want to be a journalist whenever I graduate college (whenever that will be).

Grand Isle is a 7 mile by 0.5 mile island off the coast of Louisiana. Over the summer, thousands of tourists and missionaries will kick back and relax on this little-known beach spot.
This fact alone is the main reason why the church plant I will be interning for is important and is working hard to reach those who will be vacationing for a week at a time.
